Brain McAndrew visited the Cabrach as a boy during summer school holidays. His father Gordon was born and grew up at Bowmans and his grandmother Isabella Shearer ran the post office at Bridged. Brian remembers going up to Aldivalloch to visit family friends and sitting among the older folk listening to their stories.
