Vivienne McIntosh

Vivienne grew up in the Cabrach. Her mum Alison is the daughter of John ‘Jock’ and Anna Gordon from Oldtown, lower Cabrach. Vivienne’s very early days were spent at Pyke Cottage but her parents later built the house Kildonan at Bridgend. Vivienne lived there from aged four until she married in 2001.

Vivienne went to the Cabrach Primary school in the Cabrach. At this time in the 1980s, the school roll was very small and at times there were more staff than pupils! Vivienne has kept close friends with the other pupils at the time including Martin Sheed and Maria McBain who still live in the Cabrach.

Now a Trustee for The Cabrach Trust, Viv holds a position within the Cabrach and its community to realise the regeneration plans as well as assist with projects such as the Cabrach Picnic and Games and the restoration of the Old School.
