Event Details

Interested in wildlife, biodiversity or just being outdoors?  Why not join us on Thursday 8th July for our first Cabrach Trust BioBlitz.

As we begin construction of the new wildlife pond, wildflower meadow, all ability paths and woodland, we want to record as many current species that we can find on site as a baseline record, enabling us to see what new species we can attract, creating a record of biodiversity changes over time.

We will meet at the Acorn Centre at 9.30am where we will be joined by Stephen, the EDF Dorenell Ranger to help us to identify and record the species we find.

Join us as we take a walk around the Cabrach Discovery Trails site, stopping alongside the river for a group picnic and blether.

All ages are welcome to come along to this volunteer’s event.  Just bring your packed lunch and dress appropriately for the weather and being in the fields.

As we currently do not have our fencing in place and there are sheep in the fields, we are unable to allow dogs at this event.

If you would like to come along you can book your places by emailing sam.dowdall@cabrachtrust.org
