Event Details
This full day workshop will be held at Inverharroch Farmhouse with the backdrop of the Cabrach’s historic and stunning landscape. By the end of this practical workshop session you will have a working knowledge of the techniques necessary to go away and start spinning your own yarn.
This workshop has been subsidised with funding by Inspiring Scotland for the local community. If you live in the Cabrach, Lumsden, Rhynie, Glass or Dufftown you will receive the discounted rate.
Tea and Coffee is provided. Please bring your own snacks and lunch.
Covid guidelines will be followed and we ask that you complete a lateral flow test before you attend.

Sealy MacWheely Yarn & Fibre shop in Kirkintilloch, stocking a range of beautiful squishy fibres for spinning and felting as well as a wealth of stunning hand dyed yarns by some of the most talented indie dyers in the UK, Katie is also a teacher of Drop Spindle and Spinning with over 12 years of experience.
In-house dyer Katie specialises in bright and saturated yarns, batts and fibres to brighten up a dull day with repeatable collections and an array of beautiful one of a kind colourways dyed in small batches.
In addition to this the shop also showcases a selection of local arts and crafts and a wide range of top-quality accessories for the budding knitter, crocheter and spinner.
