Winter nights were made for this starry skies and story nights, so as the nights draw in, let’s coorie in for stories by the fire.

As part of the Cabrach Winter Festival delivered in partnership with Visit Moray Speyside, we are joined by storytellers and musicians, Margot Henderson and Carol Storer who will entertain us with tales and stories of old and immersive music.

The transformed Acorn Centre will provide a cosy backdrop for the evening as we corrie in.

A light supper will be served with hot or soft drinks available. You are welcome to bring along your own bottle!

Carol Scorer is a storyteller, performer, percussionist and teacher born in the North East of England and has lived in the North East of Scotland for the last 30 years. She tells stories from around the world and is particularly interested in the spark of the oral tradition. Her stories are often interwoven with rhythm and music.

Margot Henderson is a Scots Irish poet, storyteller and community artist. Her work weaves together poetry, song and story, celebrating culture, roots and heritage, affirming our belonging to the natural world. She has performed widely in the UK and elsewhere creating performance pieces for festivals, conferences and cultural events including The Wild World Over, Is This It and Tae Absent Friends. She has produced a number of poetry collections and cd’s of poems, songs and stories.
