Remembering Together

Join us in remembering and reflecting upon the Covid-19 pandemic at this unique immersive soundwalk featuring the voices, sounds and music of Moray.

The soundwalks have been devised by composer and sound artist Lucie Treacher in collaboration with Moray communities and musicians from across the region.

A sound collage of voices, sounds and music lasting approximately 20 minutes will be played through headphones to create moments of reflection and remembrance, giving you the time and space to experience the sound collage in full while exploring your surroundings.

About the project

Remembering Together Moray is a project created with the Moray community involving events, music and story, providing a space for collective reflection on the Covid-19 pandemic.

The project is part of Scotland’s Covid Community Memorial Programme, delivered by greenspace scotland with funding from the Scottish Government.

Lead artists Graeme Roger (wildbird) and Caroline Inckle (Studio Constella) have worked with community groups, artists and musicians to co-create a constellation of sound, words and images to support the Moray community in remembering together.

The Cabrach Winter Festival: A Season of Creativity and Connection

As the darker nights draw in and the air takes on that unmistakable chill, life in rural communities shifts pace. While the landscape rests, we gather. For many, autumn and winter can feel isolating – long evenings, quieter roads, and fewer opportunities to connect. At The Cabrach Trust, we believe these months are an opportunity […]
