Event Details
The art of animal tracking is one of the most powerful (and fun) tools there is for learning about and connecting to nature. It also has a wide range of applications for practical conservation.
Tracking is a great way for nature enthusiasts of all ages to home their observation and detective skills and build knowledge of wildlife and place.
On this workshop we will use the Cabrach Discovery Trails and surrounding landscape to explore the wildlife that inhabit this beautiful, rural place.
As this workshop will be mainly outdoors please ensure you are fully equipped for outdoor ‘Cabrach’ weather and terrain. Sturdy boots and waterproofs are definitely advised.
Tea and coffee will be available at the Acorn Centre, lunch and snacks are not provided, therefore please bring your own.
We are able to offer this workshop at a greatly reduced cost due to the generous grant from Dorenell Community Windfarm Fund. Members of the community, including Cabrach, Lumsden, Rhynie, Glass and Dufftown can book this event for just £10.00
